The Staff of Scarsdale Community Baptist Church
Interim Senior Pastor, Rev. Richard Burke
Reverend Burke is no stranger to Scarsdale Community Baptist Church. After many years as Senior Minister in several churches around the country (including over 20 years in New York City) Rev. Burke became a member of SCBC in 2002. Following his heart for service and ministry, he accepted the call to be Interim Pastor at seven consecutive churches, one of them being SCBC, as we were conducting the search that ultimately resulted the calling of Pastor Mark.

Secretary and Administrator
Pat Fredericks is the SCBC Secretary and Administrator. She manages church communications, calendar, correspondence and publications, oversees the schedule and arranges for the many services, repairs and improvements that keep the church functioning smoothly. She is most likely to be the person who can provide you with the information you need, or direct you to the right person to help you.
Jairo Jimenez is often the first friendly smile those who visit the church encounter. He keeps our facilities sparkling clean, repairs things that break, and working under the direction of Pat Fredericks, makes physical arrangements for meetings, programs and special events. He supervises the church parking lot and directs traffic during busy times or in bad weather. He is assisted by his sister, Gloria.
Nursery School Director
Dina Bovѐ Nursery School Director / Teacher of 4 year-old class
I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood at Westchester Community College. I also received my Bachelors Degree at the College of New Rochelle and my MS. ED at Sarah Lawrence. Additionally, I spent several years teaching at the college level. I was fortunate enough to receive a wonderful education that has prepared me to work in the field of education, but my biggest teacher has been listening and learning from children.
I continue to learn each day as they explore and make sense of the world around them. I have been working with children for over 20 years and each day I learn something new.
I am a proud mom to an amazing nine year old boy. As an educator and a mother, I truly understand the importance of building a strong relationship between school and home. When educators and parents work together, amazing things can happen.
