Weddings
The sanctuary of the Scarsdale Community Baptist Church is a lovely place for weddings. A wedding ceremony is a celebration and an occasion for great joy the church staff strives to help every wedding couple to plan and conduct a service that will reflect their hopes and that will be the context for the beginning of their lives together in commitment. Since every wedding reflects the personalities, hopes and styles of the bride and groom, a consultation with the pastor should be scheduled at the earliest opportunity.
Fees for services for the planning and supporting the ceremony at the church will reflect the size and scope of the ceremony. However, basic services are briefly summarized:
Minimum Fee for use of the Sanctuary including one rehearsal: $750*
(Actual cost will e determined by the number of participants, time required, and service needed)
Custodial services and arrangements up to three hours: $75
Office Administrative Fee for documents preparation $50
Other services, including fees for clergy, musicians fees, candles for candlelight weddings, preparation of printed wedding programs, special decorations or arrangements, or other services will depend on extent and time of services, direct costs to the church and other considerations and will be discussed during the initial consultation. * (There is no sanctuary fee for active, contributing members of the church)
